CSXT Heaven @ SK with the Bigma 09/30/2006
Alrighty... today was the first day out shooting with the Sigma Bigma and I must say I am impressed with its performance! The purchase really was to keep as strictly a train lens when I dont want to carry an armfull of lenses and its going to do the trick! The only downfall (known already) was that once the light started to ween the pics started to get more blurry. Its not a night time lens for sure...
Enjoy!

Nice shots, Ross. Did you ever get any sun there today or was this later in the day?

Very nice Ross!
Curious - were they all handheld, or did you use a monopod or tripod?

Thanks guys... the sun was around only in the morning... so there wasnt any left by the time the trains were... oh well... better test on the lens anyways... almost all of the shots were off a monopod... it was just too dark out for a 500mm shot at 1/125....LOL

Nice shots Ross! I like the zoom of just the track work.... Got the lens just in time for the move of the 9128!! (which should be moving from Guilderland to Selkirk Monday.. not sure when its going the rest of the way) Since you sick you'll probably be calling off work right? they say fresh air is good for you if your sick!
